Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most about funding, trading, and managing your account.

Getting started

What is Privest Edge?

Privest Edge is an online trading platform that gives you access to live markets across crypto, forex, indices, and commodities. You can place your own trades, copy experienced traders, or subscribe to trading signals, all from a single account.

How do I open an account?

Choose Register, then enter your name, email, country, and a password. You will receive a verification code by email to confirm your address. Once verified, you can fund your account and start trading.

Do I need to verify my identity?

Yes. Identity verification (KYC) protects your account and is required before certain actions, including withdrawals. Open the KYC page from your profile menu and upload a government-issued ID along with the requested details. An administrator reviews each submission and you will be notified once the outcome is decided.

Is there a minimum deposit?

Minimum amounts depend on the funding method you choose and are shown on the funding page before you confirm. The page always displays the current minimum alongside the deposit address.

Funding & withdrawals

How can I fund my account?

Accounts are funded with cryptocurrency. On the funding page, pick the asset you want to send and you will be shown the deposit address and a QR code. After sending, upload your transaction proof. Your balance will be credited once the transaction has received the required number of blockchain confirmations.

How long does a deposit take to appear?

Your deposit is credited once the network confirms the transfer. You can follow its status on the transactions page, and you will receive a notification when the balance is credited.

How do I withdraw funds?

Open the funding page and choose Withdraw, then enter the amount and the wallet address you want the funds sent to. Withdrawals require a verified email address and completed identity verification.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Crypto withdrawals are typically processed within 1 minute to 1 hour depending on the cryptocurrency, network conditions, and any required security checks.

You can check the status of your withdrawal in your Transaction History. If a withdrawal remains pending longer than expected, please contact our support team.

Why is my withdrawal locked?

Withdrawals are held while you have a trading signal running, because the signal is still working toward its profit target. Once the signal completes, the lock is lifted automatically and your full balance becomes available again.

Trading

Which markets can I trade?

The markets page lists everything currently available, including major cryptocurrencies, forex pairs, stock indices, and commodities, with live prices. Use the search and category filters to find an instrument quickly.

What is leverage?

Leverage lets you open a position larger than the cash you commit to it, which magnifies both gains and losses. You select the leverage when placing a trade. Because losses grow just as quickly as profits, start conservatively until you are comfortable with how a market behaves.

How are my profits and losses calculated?

Each position is valued against the live market price, and the resulting profit or loss is applied to your balance when the trade is closed. Your dashboard shows the running total for the current day, and every closed trade is listed with its outcome on the transactions page.

Copy trading

How does copy trading work?

Browse the traders page, review a trader’s performance, and submit a request with the amount you want to allocate. Once the allocation is approved, that trader’s positions are mirrored in your account in proportion to what you committed.

Can I stop copying a trader?

Yes. You can end a copy allocation at any time from the traders page. Stopping affects future activity; positions that have already been closed keep whatever result they produced.

Is copy trading guaranteed to be profitable?

No. A trader’s past results never guarantee future performance, and copied positions can lose money just as your own trades can. Only allocate an amount you are prepared to see fall in value.

Trading signals

What are trading signals?

A trading signal is a managed run with a fixed price, a defined profit target, and a set duration. You buy the signal once at the listed price, and the platform works toward its target over the run without you needing to place the trades yourself.

How is signal profit paid out?

Profit is credited to your balance progressively over the signal’s duration rather than in a single payment at the end, so your equity and daily profit-and-loss move as the run advances. The signals page shows live progress toward the target and the time remaining.

Can a signal record a loss?

Some signals include losing trades so the run reflects realistic market activity. These are bounded by the signal’s loss threshold, which is published on the signal before you buy, and they stop before the end of the run so the profit target is still reached on time.

Can I run more than one signal at a time?

Yes. You can hold several different signals at once, though only one active purchase per signal. Any running signal keeps withdrawals locked until it finishes.

Account & security

How do I keep my account secure?

Use a long, unique password and change it from the security page if you suspect it has been exposed. Keep your email address current, since account alerts and verification codes are sent there, and never share your login details or verification codes with anyone.

Can I change the currency and language?

Yes. Your display currency can be changed from your profile, and the language switcher is available in the navigation menu on every page. Balances are converted for display while your account continues to be held in its base currency.
